Monthly Monitoring Committee (MMC) Meeting

Venue: Sindh Government 50-Bedded Hospital, Shah Faisal Town, District Korangi
The Monthly Monitoring Committee (MMC) meeting was chaired by Dr. Waqar Ahmed Ramejo, DDHO RMNCH, with participation from LHSs and representatives of TCI, PSI, and the TB DOTS Program.
Key discussions focused on review of LHW performance, catchment area coverage, and progress on priority MNCH and family planning indicators including IMR, NMR, MMR, CPR, ANC, SBA deliveries, TT vaccination, and early breastfeeding initiation. Emphasis was placed on data accuracy in MIS reporting.
Strategies to strengthen family planning demand generation, LARC referrals (IUCD), Sayana Press promotion, TB referral linkages, and outreach for zero-dose children were highlighted. Health education on IPC, malnutrition, and anaemia was also reinforced.
The meeting concluded with appreciation for field teams and a renewed commitment to strengthening MNCH and family planning services in District Korangi.
